Terms of Service
The conditions that apply to reading MedicareMinis, opening an account and sending a message through the site.
Accepting These Terms
Opening MedicareMinis, creating an account or sending a message through the site counts as acceptance of these terms. Anyone who does not accept them should stop using the site.
Use of the site is limited to adults aged eighteen or older who are residents of the United States, since the material concerns coverage available there.
What This Site Provides
MedicareMinis publishes short explanations of how Medicare coverage works. The purpose is to make a complicated subject readable one question at a time.
- The site is a reading resource, not an insurance policy and not a substitute for one.
- Nothing here binds coverage, quotes a rate or completes an enrollment.
- Nothing here is medical advice, legal advice or tax advice.
- Final coverage terms always come from the plan documents and from Medicare directly.
Accounts And Access
An account requires accurate details at signup and accurate details afterwards. Keeping the password private is the account holder's responsibility, and activity that happens under a set of credentials is treated as authorized.
An account may be suspended where the details given turn out to be false, where access is shared with others, or where use of the site breaks the conditions set out below.
Acceptable Use
The site is open for personal, non commercial reading. The following are not permitted.
- Copying or republishing the material for commercial purposes without written permission.
- Automated collection of pages through scrapers, crawlers or similar tools.
- Attempts to reach parts of the site or accounts belonging to other people.
- Uploading anything harmful, unlawful or designed to disrupt the site.
- Submitting details that belong to someone else without their permission.
Electronic Communications
Consent selections made at signup govern which messages are sent. Service messages relate to a submitted inquiry, and promotional messages relate to Medicare plan information. Each permission stands on its own.
Message frequency varies, and standard message and data rates set by a mobile carrier may apply. Replying STOP ends further texts to that number and replying HELP returns support information. Consent to receive messages is never a condition of using the site.
Outside Links
Some pages point to government resources or plan documents held elsewhere. Those destinations are run by other parties, under their own terms and their own privacy practices.
A link is offered for convenience and carries no responsibility for the accuracy or availability of what sits at the other end.
Site Content Ownership
The writing, layout, artwork and name used on MedicareMinis are protected property. Reading a page, printing it for personal reference or sharing a link to it is welcome.
Reproducing the material elsewhere, altering it or presenting it as another party's work requires permission in writing.
No Warranty Given
The site is offered as it stands. Medicare rules, plan networks, drug lists and costs change on their own schedule, so material accurate at the time of writing can fall out of date.
No promise is made that the site will always be available, free of error, or fitting for any particular purpose. Anything important should be confirmed against the plan documents or against Medicare directly before a decision is made.
Limits On Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, MedicareMinis is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site, from reliance on its material, or from any interruption in access to it.
Coverage decisions belong to the person making them, together with the plan or the agency handling the enrollment.
Disputes And Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Disputes that cannot be settled informally are to be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court or as part of a class action. A dispute should first be raised through the contact details below, since most matters settle at that stage.
Changes To These Terms
These terms are revised as the site changes or as legal requirements shift. The revision date at the top of the page always shows when the current version took effect.
Continuing to use the site after a revision means the updated terms apply.
Questions about these terms can go to patrick-j@medicareminis.com, to +1 (207) 203-5371, or by post to 170 Commerce Way, Suite 200 Portsmouth NH 03801.
